There’s an old saying that states, “Any man can make a baby, but it takes a real man to be a father.” This statement is a declaration that has proven itself accurate more times than we would like to admit, especially in this day and age where being a deadbeat dad is less of a stereotype and more of an epidemic. Therefore, when a man chooses to accept the responsibilities that come with fatherhood, he right away begins to define the type of father figure he will become. His choice to be a positive, neutral (less than significant), or negative influence is almost always evident in the lives of the children (specifically his daughters) he raises or abandons.
